Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 15, 2026

Merge Mixology ("the app") is a free puzzle game for iPhone. This policy explains what data is collected when you play, how it is used, and how you can control it.

What data is collected

The app itself does not collect your name, email address, or any information that identifies you as a person. No account is required to play.

The app uses Google AdMob to serve ads. AdMob may collect the following, subject to your consent via the iOS App Tracking Transparency prompt:

Advertising identifier (IDFA) Used to track Not linked to you

A device-level identifier used to show relevant ads and measure their performance across apps and websites. You can reset or disable this in iOS Settings.

Usage data Used to track Not linked to you

Anonymous interactions with ads (impressions, taps) used by AdMob to measure ad performance. Not tied to your name or account.

Crash & diagnostics data Not linked to you

If the app crashes, Apple may send an anonymous crash report to help identify and fix issues. This data is not used for advertising.

How data is used

No data is sold to third parties. No data is used to build a profile linked to your identity.

Third-party services

The app integrates the following third-party SDKs:

These services have their own privacy policies, which govern the data they collect independently. Links are provided above.

Your choices

When you first launch Merge Mixology, iOS will ask whether you want to allow tracking. You can change this decision at any time:

iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Merge Mixology

Turning off tracking means ads will be less personalised but the game remains fully playable at no extra cost.

You can also reset or disable your device's advertising identifier at: iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising.

Children

Merge Mixology is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. AdMob is configured to serve non-personalised ads in contexts where users may be children.

Data retention

Game progress (score, grid state, gold) is stored locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults and is never transmitted to any server. Deleting the app removes this data entirely.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised date at the top. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
